My first experience of hypnobirthing was when a friend of mine used it for her first baby. Having never heard of it before I looked into it and was immediately interested and fascinated. If only I had known about it when I had my own children. I didn't have bad experiences but, oh, to of had the knowledge that I do now. After a couple of months of investigation I came across The Little Birth Company and enrolled on their instructor course. I was immediately welcomed into their community of hypnobirthing therapists and Wondrous You continues to have the ongoing support of my lovely teachers, Wendy and Melissa.
I am very lucky to live in Paignton, Devon, a very beautiful part of the country, close to the beach! It has been a wonderful place to watch my 2 children flourish into the strong, confident adults they have become. I am Gangan to 2 extremely cute granddaughters and love being a massive role in their lives. My working back ground includes being a nursery nurse, working in a private school for 15 years before moving onto support work for brain injury and domiciliary care for the elderly. Supporting and enabling people to maintain their independence has been a passion of mine and something I find incredibly rewarding. My hobbies consist of reading, walking, yoga, hula hooping and lots of socializing with family and friends. I have a great sense of humour and strongly believe that laughter truly is the best medicine!
